Holbeach beer fest is back

Plans are well underway for the second Holbeach Music and Beer Festival this summer.
The event is scheduled for the August Bank Holiday weekend from August 5 to 7 and organiser Sean Taylor promises a “high standard” in the music line-up – with a special headliner on board for the Saturday night.
Sean said: “We want to create a family fun weekend for the community to enjoy with local bands, local businesses and local good causes/charities of Holbeach to benefit from the money raised.”
To complement the event other attractions will include inflatables, outdoor games, hot food vendors, ice-creams, 17 local live bands, professional stage, DJ sets, VIP area, sound engineers, a large range of real ales and regular bar with draught cold beer.
Last year’s event, at the Holbeach United Community Sports Academy at Pennyhill, attracted around 2,500 people.
Sean will be offering Voice readers the chance to win weekend VIP access tickets and weekend wristbands over the next few weeks.
*Sean has asked us to point out that he is not involved with the new Spalding Beer and Music Fest taking place from May 27-29, which is being organised by Spalding and District Round Table, after we used the above picture with a story about the new Spalding event.
