Primary school pupils clocked up the miles to take home the trophy in a Big Bike Race challenge.
Almost half of the youngsters at Holbeach Bank Primary School ditched the car in favour of their bikes to help rack up “virtual kilometres” on a route around the continents of the world.
The event was part of an initiative by Lincolnshire County Council to encourage children to cycle to school and Holbeach Bank pupils were the first to “cross the line” and win cycle storage pods, a trophy and certificate.
Head of school Ben Newstead said: “We are not a huge school but 47.5 per cent of our pupils cycled to school during the challenge and helped us to come first.
“It was quite an achievement.”
The school also held an open morning giving parents the chance to join their children in the classroom and take part in their learning.
Parents were able to join arts and crafts, literacy and numeracy sessions.
Mr Newstead added: “A good number of parents attended and the morning went very well.”
