Helping turn over a new leaf

A new group to promote better mental health in Spalding has launched new public sessions at the town’s library.

Community Mind Matters started its new group six weeks ago and it runs from 12pm to 2pm on Fridays.
“Spalding Library is at the heart of the community,” says group leader Vanessa Browning. “If anybody is struggling, they can come here, have a chat, privately if needed.
“It’s just a nice place to come and people can walk in.
“The library staff are amazing and alert me if there’s someone who they think I can help.
“We just sit here and talk about everything.”
For more information on the sessions or any that Community Mind Matters puts on, apply to join the Facebook group of the same name and someone will get back to you.
