Help nurse back on the saddle

An appeal has been launched to help a nurse treating COVID-19 patients buy a new bike after hers was stolen from her home.

Lucy Brown was left distraught at the theft from her Holland Park estate home as she says the bike rides with her family are her way of escaping from the pressures of working for the United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust.

It was taken after one such ride with husband Phil and sons Finley (7) and Harrison (3) on Saturday, April 18.

The theft also upset eldest son Finley so much he has struggled to sleep and offered to pay for a new bike out of his own pocket money.

Meanwhile Lucy’s friend Simon Harris has set up a JustGiving page looking to raise the £600 needed to replace the Giant Women’s bike.

The Just Giving page is here.
