Help bring flowers to riverbank

The public are being asked to help the banks of the River Welland bloom again in Spalding by sowing wildflower seeds this Saturday (April 20).

The East Mercia Rivers Trust is putting on the event paid for by National Lottery Funding at 10am.
Places are limited though and need to be booked by email [email protected]
A spokesman said: “Help us make the banks of the River Welland more wildlife friendly and colourful.
“Bring your friends and family and join us in this wildflower patch planting, part of the Spalding Reconnected: Historic Town and Riverside Project.”
