St Norbert’s Church and Project St Thomas are putting on the sessions from 12.30pm to 3pm which will include the checks, free flu vaccinations for those eligible and expert advice from a host of NHS professionals.

There will also be talks on cancer support, mental health awareness, health habits, toilet troubles and financial planning.

“Fit For Future”, is organised by Spalding Primary Care Network (PCN) in partnership with the NHS Integrated Care Board (ICB), Project St Thomas, and Beechfield Medical Centre Patient Participation Group (PPG).

The event is timed to allow residents to attend before heading into town for the Christmas
Lights switch-on at 4pm, making it a perfect day to focus on health and enjoy festive fun.

“We’re excited to bring this health event to Spalding. It’s a chance for people to get free support and advice in a friendly, local setting,” said Lisa Burns, PCN manager at Spalding PCN.

“This event shows how we’re working together to make healthcare easier to access for everyone,” added Dr. Naseer Khan, clinical director of Spalding PCN.

“We’re proud to be part of this community effort,” said Tracey Carter, relationship manager at Project St Thomas. “It’s a great way for families to get help and connect with local services.”
