Emma Agar roared to three wins at Welland Yacht Club on Sunday to clinch the Cadet Series crown and end the junior season in style.
A strong south westerly wind blowing straight down the river made life difficult for the four juniors – and the first race started with a few near capsizes on the build up to the start.
Despite forgetting the short return leg and carrying on past the mark, Agar won ahead of Niall Holland and Lucy Burton.
Agar was the winner in the second race too, with all other racers unable to complete the course.
Harry Whitelam got a great start to the final race but was overhauled by Agar for her hat-trick.
Overall results: 1st Emma Agar; 2nd Niall Holland; 3rd Harry Whitelam; 4th Lucy Burton; 5th Neo Thorpe; 6th Katie Follington.
