Harvesting the power of voice

Fenland All Saints’ Choir have been adding their voices to harvest festivals in the area.
The relatively new group played at St Peter and St Paul’s Church at Gosberton on September 27 before featuring at St Paul’s Church in Fulney last Sunday (October 4).
They were accompanied by organist Nick Pitts in Gosberton on the singing the anthem ‘Thou Visitest the Earth’ and traditional harvest hymns including ‘We Plough the Fields and Scatter’.
Conductor Luke Muxlow said: “Being part of a farming community, the Harvest Festival is an important highlight in the church’s calendar.
“We are very grateful to those that have invited us to sing at their beautiful churches.
“If anyone is interested in joining the choir (we’re particularly looking for more ladies) then please send a text to 07460 926974 for further information.”
