Harsh lessons for Tigers as they ship 11 in two games

Life in the first team is proving to be a tough learning curve for Holbeach United’s youngsters.

The Tigers cubs crashed out of the Thurlow Nunn League Cup 4-0 at home to local rivals Parson Drove last Wednesday and were then swamped in the league on Saturday, going down 7-1 at Dussindale & Hellesdon Rovers.

Parson Drove surged into a two-goal lead inside 12 minutes of the cup tie and led 3-0 at the interval before adding a fourth in the last ten minutes.

Substitute Josh Williams got Holbeach’s consolation goal in the heavy Division One North defeat at The Nest, in Norwich.

Tigers v Dussindale: C Bell, T Bell, Salih, Goult, West, Oldham, Roberts, Carter, Greenfield, Kacirek, Lee. Subs: Szablowski, Garner, Coelho, Buffong, Williams.
