Harrox lead way in title race

The Dor-Jan Peterborough League Premier Division title race still has plenty of twists and turns ahead.

All the top seven are still in with a chance of glory but, for now, it is Moulton Harrox who are in pole position.
Gary Chappell, Ashley Coddington and Declan Earth earned a 3-0 win against Oundle Town on Saturday to stay ahead of Warboys Town on goal difference from two games fewer. They used up one of those matches to move three points clear on Tuesday coming from behind for a 2-1 win against Crowland Town.
However, third-placed Uppingham are six points adrift but with three games in hand on the leaders.
Crowland Town sit sixth, 12 points behind the leaders but still have seven games to play, despite Tuesday’s loss and a similar result against Deeping Rangers Reserves on Saturday.
At the bottom, Tydd need to pick up points from their final four matches to avoid the drop. Saturday’s 4-2 defeat to bottom-placed Ramsey Town did not help their cause. Bradley Easey and Kai Scott-Henson got the home goals.
