Harrox are through to last eight

Moulton Harrox took their fine league form into the opening round of the President’s Shield with a 4-1 home victory over Sawtry at the weekend.

Goals from Jake Cawthorne, Billy King, Danny Maddison and Corban Oldham moved the current Peterborough League Premier Division table-toppers into the quarter-finals of the competition.

Harrox’s second string completed another day of victory doubles for the Broad Lane club after winning 2-0 in their Division One match at Oakham United Reserves.

John Ball and Daniel Lambe-Hyner were on target for Harrox who have won all four of their league matches so far this term.

Pinchbeck United Reserves drew for the second time in four matches after sharing the spoils in a 3-3 draw with Ramsey Town.

Connor Eyes, Scott Britton and Liam Parker netted for the Knight Street side who are still looking for their first victory of the Division Two campaign.

Tydd St Mary Reserves recorded their maiden win of the Division Four campaign after a 4-2 home success over Feeder.
Tim Lowe and Maxwell Burrell both bagged braces for the triumphant Tydd team.

Holbeach Bank Reserves were 3-1 winners at Stamford Lions A in the same division while Whaplode Drove were edged out 2-1 by Parkside despite Joe Strickland’s strike.

Holbeach United A went down to a 5-2 home defeat against AFC Orton in Division Five with Daniel Bergin and Robert Lewsey on target for the Tigers’ third team.
