Hannah sets to work with bodycasts in Long Sutton

If you or a loved one has an attractive bottom or a chest to be proud of, there’s a new business in Long Sutton ready to make a lasting memory from it!

Body casting specialist La Boutique Du Moulage is preserving body parts for posterity.
Pregnant women might like to have their bumps cast, and families or lovers can have their entwined arms or hands modelled.

Business owner Hannah Deith started the venture after learning the tricks of the trade from dad Mark who owned Paint A Pot Place in Bourne for over three years.
After making and selling a few hand casts, 20-year-old Hannah was gripped with the art form and started to look for a suitable site to set up. That’s when an opportunity for a unit within arts and crafts venue Long Sutton Barns in Vicarage Lane arose.

Hannah, of Fosdyke, said: “I’m hoping that it becomes successful because I’ve found a way of earning money that really interests me.
“I’ve been working on the studio for a couple of months and now I’m ready to launch.”

The latest type of casts she’s developing have a super hero theme. Children can have their hands cast in the style of Spider-man, Iron Man or Black Widow.
Casts can be set on plinths to be freestanding or mounted on a wall.

Prices go from £20 (for lips) through to £200 for belly and breasts together. Privacy is ensured, with Hannah being the only person to see people having casts during the process. However, home visits are offered.
Just think – for a few quid now, in years to come when things might have “moved south” a little, you’ll be able to reflect on how they used to be!
