Halmergate closed for road repairs

Repairs to the road surface on Halmergate will take place next week, weather permitting.
The road will be closed to motorists from Monday, October 26, to Friday, October 30, but access will be maintained for residents.
Maxine Stukins, senior highways officer, said: “With schools nearby we are taking the opportunity to complete these works during the half-term holidays, when there won’t be as much traffic on the roads.”
