Halmer Harriers athletes out in force at popular Heckington event

A host of Halmer Harriers’ athletes took on the Heckington ten-mile race on Saturday.

It was the first ten-mile event some of the athletes have attempted with the Spalding club, so it is now hoped they’ll be tackling the half-marathon distance before the year is out.

Three Halmer Harriers, Rob Hammond, Steve Tucker and Di Morris, are taking on the Grim Reaper 40 mile ultra marathon at Grimsthorpe today (Friday).
