Group races for life in Holbeach

A special Race For Life was held in Holbeach last week raising hundreds of pounds for charity.

Those associated with County Care Holbeach did 365 laps of Carter’s Park between them to raise over £600 for Cancer Research UK.
The group aims to build the confidence of those with a disability or autism so they can live as independently as possible and wanted to take part in one of the many events Cancer Research hold in the country.
But due to issues in getting around, they instead applied to host their own event in Holbeach.
A total of 45 people did laps of the park to raise money.
“It was an amazing day,” said County Care’s Carla Fuller. “Thank you to everyone who took part.
“I’m so proud of them all.”
