The traditional ‘Bring and Take’ Texas Scramble event at Sutton Bridge Golf Club was won by Steen Catlow, Roy Fox and Judy Green with a net score of 65.8 (gross 72).
Always a fun game, everyone finished with a prize – but the winners also came away with the Tappit Hen trophy and £10 of vouchers – sponsored by Samuels Butchers, of Walpole St Andrew.

- Sutton Bridge will be staging a par three open competition on Sunday, June 12.
The format will be a team event, with teams of three playing stapleford off full handicap. An aggregate of all three scores will count for the prizes. Players will play in threes with entrants from other clubs.
Sutton Bridge believe that this is the first par three open event to be held in the area and boast a challenging course with holes varying from 80 to more than 200 yards.
