The latest round of donations from a government fund has seen £74,000 given to good causes.
The GRASSroots scheme is part of the government UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
It’s run by Lincolnshire Community Foundations with support from district councils including South Holland.
Those that received grants this time are:
- West Pinchbeck Village Hall – Renovation of the interior of the village hall
- Moulton Parish Council – Support towards installation of new play area, picnic area and public footpath within Moulton Park.
- Cowbit Village Hall – Installation of new windows at the hall.
- Fleet Parish Council – Renovation of the pavilion in Fleet Hargate, to include step-free access, accessible toilets, changing rooms and refreshment of community spaces.
- Adults Move – A series of social events for adults with disabilities and additional needs in South Holland.
- The Curlew Centre, Sutton Bridge – New chairs for the centre to be used at meetings and events.
- Tonic Health – New space within Tonic Health in Spalding to increase capacity to support beneficiaries.
- Little Miracles – Replacement of the toilets in the Holbeach facility to improve accessibility.
- Crowland Bowls Club – New automated irrigation system.
- St Gilbert and St Hugh Community Church Hall, Gosberton Clough – Renovations to the community hall, to include replacement of guttering and downpipes, along with construction of a lockable storage room.
- Bromley Memorial Hall, Pode Hole – A new roof and renovations at the hall to include toilet facilities and a new disabled toilet.
Coun Paul Redgate, Portfolio Holder for Finance, said: “We are proud to be able to support such a diverse mix of projects, including those in our more rural villages, through this round of the GRASSroots scheme.
