Graffiti mural is spruced up

A Spalding graffiti artist has revamped a town mural and wants to hear from anyone who might have other town canvasses he can work with.

Karl Barfoot, who goes by the tag Honr, created the image of a young girl with a bird over the mental health artwork he’d previously created near the Castle Sports Complex.

He says the work took 12 hours over a recent Saturday.

“I’d done the previous mental health one and it was looking a bit tired and messy.

“I though it’s been a couple of years and put a bit of fresh paint on it.

“I’d love to find some other spots in Spalding to do some similar works on a bigger scale.

“It’s just finding the areas I can do it in the middle of town.

“It would be nice to find other spots to tidy up and put some nice artwork on the walls.

“If anyone has an idea for where I can use I’m always up for suggestions.”
