Gosberton racer Pulling gets W Series season off to a strong start with pair of fine finishes in Miami

Abbi Pulling got her W Series season off to a strong start with two top six finishes at rounds one and two at Miami over the weekend.

The Gosberton racer, who is part of the Racing X, placed sixth in race one on Saturday before improving to take fourth place in the second outing on Sunday.

It was a strong weekend for the South Holland youngster, who is being tipped to have a bright future by many influential names in the sport.

It was defending champion Jamie Chadwick who took the headlines by kicking off her title defence in style with back-to-back victories.

But Pulling – who qualified in tenth place – proved she will be in the mix at the top end of the field with a confident display in Florida.

Round Two is at Barcelona on May 20/21, with Pulling making the trip to Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya sitting in fourth place in the early standings.
