Gosberton opens doors to all

Gosberton Bowls Club has received about £12,000 to improve the green and will be showing it off to the general public to try to increase membership and playing numbers.

An open day is being held on Saturday, April 27, 11am.
Club spokesman Stuart Tamplin said: “One of the reasons we have spent the amounts we have on maintenance and the watering system is to try to produce a green that will bowl true, hoping to entice not only more member players but a younger group.”
At the open day, there will be tea and coffee, the bar will be open, and bowls will be available to use, with lots of players around to help and provide advice.
