Gosberton karting star Abbi dominates with four-some Shenington display

South Holland karting ace Abbi Pulling picked up four wins in her latest outing in the MSA TKM Junior National Championship.

The 15-year-old Gosberton speedster put in another dominant performance at Shenington, winning all four races she was involved in – including two finals.

That means that she is now top of her championship, which is part of the Super One Series.

Pulling said: “The final one was very strange, with two red flags. Thankfully, there were no serious injuries and although the race was shortened, a win is a win!

“I got a good start from pole position in the grand final and went into the lead.

“There was quite a battle behind me apparently, but I managed to stretch a gap to the chequer for a clean sweep and win four of the weekend.

“With the championship rivals all having poor weekends it has opened up a good championship lead.”

British Women Racing Drivers’ Club chairman Lorraine Gathercole added: “Abbi continues to impress, her maturity and determination is way beyond her years, and her natural talent shines through time and again.

“However, like so many young racing driver’s, Abbi needs financial support to enable her journey to the top levels to continue, and with these continuing excellent results goes to demonstrate her talent to potential sponsors and partners.”
