Some 50 ladies took part in Spalding Golf Club’s annual Turkey Trot event at the Surfleet course last week.
The top 12 scores of the day all earned a £15 butchers voucher, with Gill Dewhurst top of the tree with 35 points.
Other winners were: Kay Green (32), Leanne McCaan (31), Jacqui Walton (28), Paula Brown (27), Di Rafferty (27), Barbara Newcombe (25), Linda Prue (25), Joy Stepney (25), Sue Watson (25), Pat West (25) and Sally West (25).
The following ladies were also awarded trophies at a presentation evening and festive dinner afterwards: Barbara Watson Salver and Ladies Club Champion 2019 – Tilly Garfoot. Handicap Cup (greatest reduction in the golfing year of 11.3 shots from 46.0 to 34.7) – Amanda Camm. Tomlinson Order of Merit – Lesley Williams. Summer Eclectic – Sally West. Par Bar – Maureen Orwell. Birdie Tree – Liz Holbrook. Winner of the England Golf Medal (with the lowest aggregate differential of four EGM scores) – Lesley Williams.

Michael McCleery is celebrating after topping Division One in Tydd St Giles Golf Club’s November medal.
His score edged out Luke Rowell and Rodney Drew on countback.
