Golf day raises charity cash

The annual Lincoln Arms Golf Day for the Daisy Williamson Shield was held at Gedney Hill Golf course on September 24.
The competition was won by Chris Page with many other prizes awarded to the golfers for various things.
Organiser Nigel Burrell, thanked Charlie at Gedney Hill Golf Course, along with everyone who took part. He also thanked the people who helped with the buffet.
The prize-giving and refreshments was held at the Lincoln Arms afterwards and there was a large raffle held in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support, with many prizes generously donated.
With the golf, the raffle and donations a total of £1,170 was raised in aid of Macmillan.
Nigel thanked everyone who contributed to raise such a great total for the day for such a worthy cause.
