Golden Brownies shine bright

Two members of a Brownie group have gone gold.

Holbeach 1st Brownies Darcie Bradshaw and Isabelle Richardson have completed all the badges to gain a coveted Gold badge.

A spokesman for Holbeach Brownies said: “To achieve their Gold Award, Darcie and Isabelle, completed all six theme awards and remade their Brownie promise.

“We wish them both all the best on their next adventures, as they come to the end of their Brownie journey.

“To celebrate we had a Gold Party and finished the term joining together with the other units in our districts for a circus themed afternoon.”

Holbeach Brownies are currently looking to welcome new leaders and helpers to join our friendly unit.

The group’s Catherine Burr said: “We currently have a waiting lists and more trained leaders would enable us to be able to offer more spaces and open new units, so that more girls are able to experience Girl Guiding.

“Anyone who is interested or would like to know more about volunteering please visit the Girlguiding website to register an interest.”
