Georgie raises £71 for school

A village primary school is £71 better off thanks to the Easter efforts of one of its pupils.

Georgie Van Dyke (11) donated a giant Bugs Bunny soft toy and asked butchers NW Roffe & Daughter, of Sutton St James, to sell numbered “squares” on a giant egg she drew to their customers to raise money for Tydd St Mary Primary School.

The winner won the bunny and an Easter egg.

Georgia said: “I want to say a big thank you to Roffe’s and their customers for raising this fantastic amount to spend on extra things for the children at our school.”
