George is a future leader

A young leader in the making has been given a fantastic trip courtesy of the South Holland Rotary Club.
George Neal went on the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards course.
The Head Boy at Spalding High School is now moving on Sheffield University.
Before he leaves, he joined others supported by Rotary organisations at the week-long course at Grafham Water.
A spokesman for the club said: “It challenged him most thoroughly
“He had to work in a team of fellow candidates on a variety of tasks from virtually setting up and running a ‘The Apprentice’ type business, to kayaking on a survival style expedition through the night.
“It was clear that he learned much about himself and his potential, and improved skills achieving his goals.
“The club sponsors candidates each year. If you are 18-24 and would like to be considered as our candidate for this excellent course, please do make contact with our club membership or through our Facebook page.”
South Holland Rotary Club president Carole Lewry presented George with a certificate recently as he came to one of the group’s meeting to talk about his experiences.
