Gedney Hill Golf Club quartet enjoy Salver success

A team from Gedney Hill Golf Club won the Les Pepper Salver after seeing off a host of teams from the clubs across the South Lincolnshire League.

The winning side was made up by Paul Day, Rob Newns, Charles Britton, Jim Starbuck and Nick Markillie.

Men’s section results: Turners Turkey (Round One) – 1st Chris Davies 65 nett; 2nd Craig Johnson 67 (ocb); 3rd Pete Vinter 67. Turners Turkey (Round Two) – 1st Joe Timms 64 nett; 2nd James Smith 67 (ocb); 3rd Paul Day 67. Turners Turkey (overall standings) – 1st Joe Timms 134 nett; 2nd Craig Johnson 137; 3rd Pete Vinter 138.

December Medal – 1st Joe Timms 63 nett; 2nd Pete Vinter 66 (ocb); 3rd Leroy Lucas 66.
