Gedney gets throne for king

A new bench has been erected in Gedney to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III.

It’s been purchased using the ward council budget of Jo Reynolds.
Jo said ‘It is nice to be able to do something for the village and the residents.
“The bench is also in honour of his Majesty King Charles III’s Coronation on Saturday and has a plaque in place to mark the occasion.
“I feel we need to do a lot more for our villages in South Holland like this, there is nothing like having a bench to perch on and watch the world go by.”
