Gamebirds raise £775 for charity

Tydd St Giles ladies’ held their annual Gamebirds pairs competition.

16 teams took part, with the winning pair coming in with 37 points Liz Miller, from Tydd, and Rachel Hodgkinson, from Heacham Golf Club.
Second (ocb), also coming in with 37 points, were Chelsea Petty and Karen Gillet, from Sutton Bridge Golf Club.
In third place with 36 points were Maria Taylor-Vassall, from Tydd and Maggie Clarkson, from King’s Lynn Golf Club.
In fourth place with 35 points where Kim Markillie and Andrea Stockton, from Gedney Hill Golf Club.
Nearest the pin hole – Pat Web, Middleton Hall GC. Nearest the pin 16th hole – Rachel Hodgkinson, Heacham GC. Nearest the pin in two 18th hole – Sarah Reading Swaffham GC.
Tydd ladies re-introduced the Joy Ringer Hidden Hole competition in memory of former member Joy. Her daughter Mandy donated the prize for the winners.
Also captain Petra Meir was pleased to announce that £775 was raised for her charity Dementia UK.
