GALLERY – End of season celebration for young Spalding hockey stars

Youngsters have been celebrating success at the annual junior awards presentation at Spalding Hockey Club.

After a glorious training session, the children and parents all gathered to celebrate the achievements from the season with some winning individual prizes due to improvement or stand out performances in game situations.
Head of juniors at the club, Charlotte Morris, said: “These children train every week and massive improvement in skills has been recognised for all of them especially in game situation.
“I could not be prouder of the children and it is a joy to celebrate with them.”
The awards went to:
Under 8 Rising Star – Esther Davison
Under 8 Rising Star – Issac Stennett
Under 8 Most Improved – Connie English
Under 10 Rising Star – Evan Horton
Under 10 Rising Star – Alan Caulfield
Under 10 Most Improved – Roberts Pavlovics
Under 12 Rising Star – Ada Waldon
Under 12 Rising Star – Lennon Smith
Under 12 Most Improved – Saiiraghav Maruthi
Under 14 Rising Star – Martha Haighton
Under 14 Rising Star – Will Clark
Under 14 Most Improved – Jacob Main
Coaches’ Player – Oliver Moss.
