GALLERY – A Night in Wonderland raises thousands

A charity ball has raised around £7,000 to allow parents to stay in hospital with their children.

Organised by Hayley Warner, who is the ward sister at Boston’s Pilgrim Hospital, the A Night in Wonderland ball was a huge success.

The event, which took place at Springfields, Spalding, raised money for the young person’s assessment unit at the hospital. The money will allow the purchase of seven beds.

Entertainment on the evening included band The Walk, a disco from SN Events and a performance by Spalding School of Dance.

Hayley, of Spalding, said: “The night was absolutely amazing, especially as it was our first ever ball.

“We’re now deciding whether to do it all again!”
