Cowbit’s second annual Fun on the Field event takes place on the village playing field on Saturday.
The event runs from 3pm-6pm and, for Cowbit residents only, there will be an evening karaoke session.
Attractions will include village sports competitions, a circus skills workshop, a climbing wall, bouncy castles, a beer tent, plus a tombola, teas and coffees along with car boot sale and charity stalls.
There will be a cake decorating competition with classes for children and grown-ups. Competitors will need to supply a plain cake and decorate it and the winners will be judged on the quality and innovation of the decoration. All entries will be sold to raise funds for the church.
