An ever burgeoning friendship between Spalding Rugby Club and Hamilton Hawks in Australia has been celebrated.
In the past two seasons, several players have come over from the New South Wales side to play for Spalding.
And their players Jack Patrick and Henry Duce are currently playing down under, both scoring tries in a 24-22 win over Maitland last week.
One of the Aussies who has played a huge role for Spalding is Lachlan Summers and Jack and Henry presented him with his framed Spalding playing shirt.
The Hawks also presented shirts to the Spalding players.
A Spalding spokesman said: “The welcome, friendship and hospitality shown by everyone at Hamilton Hawks has been outstanding. They are a fantastic club with wonderful people, and we’re excited to continue developing this special relationship for many years to come.”
