Fresh challenges for Spalding United next season after big shake-up

It’s all change for Spalding United next season in the newly-named Evo-Stik NPL South East Division.

The Tulips, who narrowly avoided the drop last time around, are one of just 11 teams to remain in the new-look division.

Matt Easton’s side will be up against some familiar old foes – including Carlton Town, who were handed a relegation reprieve due to AFC Mansfield’s ground-grading related relegation.

The 2019/20 Evo-Stik NPL South East Division line-up (subject to change): Belper Town, Carlton Town (relegation reprieve), Chasetown (sideways from NPLW), Cleethorpes Town, Frickley Athletic, Glossop NE (sideways from NPLW), Ilkeston Town (promoted from MLP), Kidsgrove Athletic (sideways from NPLW), Leek Town (sideways from NPLW), Lincoln United, Loughborough Dynamo, Market Drayton Town (sideways from NPLW), Newcastle Town (sideways from NPLW), Sheffield FC, Spalding United, Stamford, Stocksbridge PS, Sutton Coldfield Town (from SL1C), Wisbech Town, Worksop Town (promoted from NCEL).
