Fresh attempt for alcohol licence at new Spalding shop

A fresh premises licence application has been submitted for a new supermarket in Spalding.

Frahang Amin Mohammed wants permission to sell alcohol at Mini Poli in Winsover Road from 10am to 9.30pm seven days a week.

The last application for the premises – formerly China City Restaurant – was thrown out by South Holland District Council’s panel of the licensing committee due to a link between the previous applicant and criminality.
Representations about Mr Mohammed’s application must be made to the council by August 5.

There are ten premises licences currently being utilised in Winsover Road.
