Police have reissued an appeal for witnesses after the release of fresh information about an attempted ramraid in Spalding.

The attack happened on Robert Goddard clothes shop in Vine Street in the early hours of Tuesday.

A silver Renault Clio used in the attack was stolen from the Ladywood Road area of Spalding on Monday night.  A telegraph pole was attached to the rear of the vehicle.

At 1:50am on Tuesday the Clio was reversed into the door of the clothes shop. The Clio was later found abandoned on Rangell Gate junction with Fulney Lane.

” Did you see this happening? Did you notice any suspicious activity in the Ladywood Road area? Where has the telegraph pole come from?”

Anyone with information should contact Spalding CID by dialling 101 and quoting incident 16 of May 13. Report crimes anonymously by contacting Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
