Free conference for business community on changes to UK tax regime

A free conference in Spalding aims to bring clarity on the UK’s changing tax regime to the business community.

There will be clear and concise presentations geared to helping business owners and professionals manage their tax effectively.
Some of the East of England’s most prominent business leaders and professionals have been invited to take part in the event hosted by accountants Moore Thompson, which has an office in Spalding.

The event at the South Holland Centre on Tuesday, November 29, from 11.30am will include talks from the firm’s partners and high-profile speakers.

The highlight will be a talk from Giles Mooney, a chartered accountant and chartered tax adviser, who has been involved in UK tax training for more than two decades.

Mark Hildred, managing partner at Moore Thompson, said: “Over the last few years the government has introduced a number of changes to the UK tax regime that affect businesses and their owners.
“Our annual tax conference aims to provide some clarity to the situation in order to help individuals manage their tax affairs in an efficient and compliant manner.”
