Four days of weather warnings over strong winds for South Holland begin tonight.
The Met Office has issued a “Yellow” weather warning at some time every day for the area up to and including Saturday, February 9.
Today’s weather warning starts at 10pm for strong winds and is in force until 9am tomorrow.
Another warning for “very strong winds” comes into force at 12pm on Friday, February 8 and continues right through to 6pm on Saturday.
Of the later warning, The Met Office say: “A spell of very strong winds is expected to affect large parts of the UK leading to some travel disruption.”
Gusts of between 50 and 60mph are to be expected inland, meteorologists say.
