Food festival was massive success

More than 3,000 visitors enjoyed the weather and the great food on offer at Holbeach’s annual Food Festival.

Organiser Nick Worth is delighted with the way the event went, saying it had a “real community feel”.

The event was held at Carter’s Park, this year over two days, and most stallholders reported having a great weekend.

Nick said: “It was a brilliant weekend. We had record numbers with more than 3,000 people coming along over the weekend.

“The strongman competition was great and brought in quite a lot of people.

“Many stallholders said they would like to come back next year, and some people who didn’t come this year have said they would be interested next year.

“Lots of visitors were catching up with friends they hadn’t seen for a while and there was a lovely community feel all weekend.”
