Flower-themed family fun

V COMMUNITY

Your little budding naturalists can blossom at the RSPB’s Frampton Marsh nature reserve on Sunday.

Join in with the flower-themed family fun, with lots for your kids to do.

You can make lovely blooms with “seed bombs” that add a splash of colour to your garden. There will also be free packets of seed for you to take away.

If you’re not green-fingered, you can still produce some lovely blooms as you make pretty paper flowers.

There are other craft activities to keep your kids amused and face-painting too.

The family fun day runs from 10.30am to 4pm, and costs £3 per child.

Chris Andrews, visitor services officer for the reserve, said: “Our native wildflowers add a wonderful splash of colour to the Lincolnshire countryside. Bring your family this Sunday to have fun and some help to add more flowers to your own garden.”

You can get more information on this or any other reserve activities by calling 01205 724678 or emailing lincolnshirewashreserves@rspb.org.uk.

RSPB Frampton Marsh is signposted off the A16. There are toilets and a self-service catering area with snacks and hot and cold drinks.

Entry to the reserve is free and the visitor centre is open 10am to 4pm (5pm at weekends).
