Flower festival

It’s full steam ahead for the Whaplode Flower Festival which includes a display of trains.
The Whaplode Vintage Collectors Club’s is taking over the village hall on Saturday and Sunday to showcase some of its layouts.
It will be open from 10am to 4pm with admission free to the public.
On Monday (May 29) there will also be a craft fair at the hall from 10.30am until 2.30pm.
The Flower Festival itself takes place at St Mary’s Church from May 26 to 29.
This year’s theme is a celebration of hobbies and holidays.
A spokesman said: “Volunteers from the church and local community have come together to put on a wonderful, vibrant and energetic display.”
