Flower donation just the Tonic for society

A flower club has given a blooming marvellous donation to a local charity.

Saracen’s Head Flower Club raised £641 from its annual China Tea Party in September.

Over the years members have raised a total of £15,000 for local good causes.

This year they presented it to health and wellbeing charity Tonic Health which has recently opened its Holbeach Hub.

Ruth Taplin from the charity attended last week’s meeting to receive the cheque.

A spokesman said: “Ruth also gave a short talk and thanked members for a wonderful donation.”
