Five vehicle collision closes Main Road Gedney

The public is being urged to avoid Main Road in Gedney after a road traffic collision involving five vehicles this afternoon (Tuesday).

Police were called shortly after 2.30pm this afternoon and the road remains closed with South Holland Police urging people on social media to avoid the area.

It’s not clear if anyone has been injured in the incident.

A spokesman for Lincolnshire Police, said: “We received a call at 2.33pm today, reporting a five-vehicle RTC on Main Road, Gedney.

“It involved four cars and another vehicle.

“The road has been closed at both ends while emergency services attend the scene.”
