Fisher returns to boost point-hunting G&S Kawasaki ahead of Brands Hatch trip

G&S Racing Kawasaki are back to full strength for this weekend’s trip to Brands Hatch.

Following Tom Fisher’s absence at Knockhill because of a family wedding, the Wyberton team’s three riders travel south to Kent for round seven of the Superstock 600 championship and round six of the Superstock 1000 series where they will be competing on the full international GP circuit over the weekend.

Last time out the two Stock 600 riders – Milo Ward and Ben Luxton –brought some good points back to the team with Ward finishing in sixth place and Luxton not far behind in tenth.

They will be seeking more top ten results from Brands Hatch to move them both further up the rider standings.

The returning Fisher will also be seeking some top results for the team.

Although yet to score points in the Stock 1000 series so far this season, he will be looking to change this at the Kent circuit.

He has three races to contest as this weekend sees the return of the event where the race is split into two 18-lap affairs, with a break after the first race to refuel and change tyres.

As well as that, he has a 16-lap race to contest.

Timetable: Superstock 1000: Friday – free practice one (FP1) 11.50am; FP2 4.50pm. Saturday – qualifying 9.40am, races one and two (over 18 laps each) 1.15pm. Sunday – warm-up 9.45am; race three (16 laps) 2.15pm.

Superstock 600: Friday – Free practice one (FP1) 9am; FP2 2pm. Saturday – qualifying 11.50am. Sunday – warm-up 9.10am; race (12 laps) 12.15pm.
