Firm’s show is hailed a success

A company’s first food and drink show in five years has been hailed a success.

South Lincs Foodservice recently put on the show at Springfields Events and Conference Centre.
It is the first time it’s been put on in five years and it saw more than 250 customers.
Simon Davison, managing director of South Lincs Foodservice, said: “This event offered a rare opportunity for our customers to meet directly with lots of our suppliers in one day, to try out the products for themselves, have meaningful conversations with the product experts and gain lots of new ideas and insights to help push their businesses forward.
“We were really pleased with the footfall and the atmosphere, and several suppliers have fed back that the customers seemed really engaged and impressed with the variety and quality of the products showcased, which is exactly what we wanted to achieve.
“It’s such a tough industry for our operators right now, so anything we can do to help our customers problem solve or find new products that really work for them is incredibly valuable to their success and ours, as we aim to deliver everything that our customers need.
“We hope to be able to make this an annual event in the South Lincs Foodservice calendar going forward.”
