Fire crew helps Santa in Holbeach

Santa entertained youngsters and shoppers at Tesco Holbeach on Saturday morning with the help of the Holbeach Fire crew and Chosen charity shop.

Together they raised money for the National Firefighters Charity.

Youngsters were given sweets and posted letters in Santa’s mobile post box.

As the reindeer were resting ready for Christmas Eve, the Holbeach Fire crew stepped in and provided transport for Santa in the Holbeach fire truck.

Santa, pictured by John Kinder with six-year-old Jenson Darlow, said he was most grateful for the help from Lincs Fire and Rescue and urged everyone at home to test their smoke alarms before the Christmas festivities to help keep their family safe.
