Fire at business near Long Sutton

Three crews were called to put out a fire at a business south of Long Sutton in the early hours of this morning.

Crews from the town, Holbeach and Spalding were called to a commercial premises on Winters Lane shortly after 1am.

No-one is believed to have been injured in the incident which Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue say was started due to a build up of dust.

A spokesman for the service said: “There was fire damage to one motor and conveyor belt in a silo elevator. One hose reel was used to extinguish it.”
