Festival funds for community

Proceeds from a popular South Holland festival have been donated to the local community.

The Holbeach Music and Beer Festival attracted crowds to the town’s sports academy venue for a packed weekend.

Plans are already well under way for this year’s event which will be held on August 3, 4 and 5.

Organiser Sean Taylor presented a £750 cheque to the Hobeach Parish Regeneration Fund from the festival proceeds.

He also presented £500 to the Holbeach in Bloom team to help with this year’s displays.

“I wanted the money raised to be shared between charities or good causes that benefit the town of Holbeach.

Exciting plans are underway to hopefully make this years Holbeach Music and Beer Festival bigger and better with some exciting new ideas and even more live bands performing,” said Mr Taylor.
