Fantastic fourth spot is Bamford’s highlight at Adrian Flux Arena

The BriSCA season reached a fantastic finale at the Adrian Flux Arena on Saturday.

In the BriSCA F1’s Spalding’s Jim Bamford finished in an excellent fourth place in the opening race, but unfortunately problems with oil pressure in his Chevy V8 meant he had to load up for the rest of the evening.

Mark Sargent, also from Spalding, didn’t fare any better with no results to show for his racing on Saturday.

For the 2Litre Saloons, Spalding’s Simon Venni was racing in the Driver of the Year final, where he finished a credible ninth place.

Much like Bamford, though, this was his only result of the night after catching a big hit from a rival.

Next up at the Adrian Flux Arena is the last Saturday night event of the year in the shape of the annual Halloween Carnival ‘Spooktacular’.

Over 115 bangers are entered, along with full grids of stock cars and Reliant Robins; making for a big night of racing.

Coupled with a kids’ fancy dress parade and huge firework display – it’s a great night for all of the family from 5pm.

Full event details can be found at http://www.stockcar-racing.co.uk – check before travelling for race day updates.
