A family fish and chip shop business has is celebrating opening its second outlet in Spalding.
Oh My Cod #No2 opened in Wygate Park last week to go alongside Bill and Sandy Rai’s store on Alexandra Road they’ve been serving from for the last eight years.
The pair have been in the food business for over 17 years and say they’ve opened the second store to meet the demand from residents in that part of Spalding.
Sandy said: “It’s been really good so far and we’ve had great feedback from the community who have really supported us.
“When we brought our old chip van nearby we had so many people say to us that we needed to open a permanent chip shop on this side of town.
“Over Facebook we had a lot of requests for us to see if there was any chance to take up this site, and we just thought, ‘fair enough’.
“We’re all really excited about it.”
Oh My Cod will also be stocking copies of the Spalding Voice at the Wygate Park shop.
